NEW YORK (AP) -- By now, the tableau has become tragically familiar: American Muslims standing before a bank of cameras, condemning an attack linked to Islamic extremism.
After the San Bernardino, California, rampage, the local chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations didn't even wait for law enforcement to announce a motive. Just hours after the husband-and-wife shooters were identified as Muslim on Wednesday, the civil rights group held a news conference with the perpetrators' brother-in-law, Farhan Khan.

The answer is simple, renounce Islam.
You may live in America, but you can never be a Muslim and an American. The two belief systems are irreconcilable.

“struggle”? LOL! Muslims are enemy combatants!
And that's true because all Islamic murderers call on Allah to witness what they are doing in the name of and for the greater glory of Islam. Murderers who belong to other religions may do so for political reasons or lack of sanity or morality, but not in the name of the God of that religion or for its greater glory.
Islam is alone in that.
One way to show islam is really peace....allow non-muslims to enter mecca.
Tell those non-muslims who claim terrorists are perverting islam to visit mecca.
If someone claiming to be a Christian goes on a murderous rampage, I have no problem denouncing such people ASAP.
However, since murderous rampages are baked into the cake of Islam, I can see where moderate aka apostate muslims might have a problem denouncing such murders.

A small group of around 30 French Muslims from Bangladesh joined mourners in the Place de la Republique in Paris to protest the bloody ISIS attacks.
Approximately 10-15% of Paris is Muslim or at least 224,000 people.
Only 30 felt moved enough to protest the ISIS massacre.
...without violating their oath to islam and its need for violence? They can’t.
Islam operates as a hive entity. The hive has to be destroyed.
They struggle with how they should APPEAR to condemn attacks.
Awwwww, too bad it’s so stressful to support an ideology that promotes extremism/killing non-believers, and pretend it doesn’t.
That’s a toughy, all right.
If the civilized world is to survive, Islam must be understood for what it really is: It's not a religion, form of government, or anything recognizable to the civilized mind. Islam is a disease, an incurable disease of the mind that is highly contagious among the feeble minded and is now spreading among the world's feeble minded at an epidemic rate. As with any disease, one can't reason with this disease, negotiate with it, or treat in any manner other than how one would treat any other incurable disease.
As past efforts to contain this disease have failed, carriers of this Plague of Islam must be eradicated wherever they're found, for if they're not, this disease will eventually end not just Western Civilization, but it will undo over 5,000 years of human civilization.
How about have them throw off that devil worship, find Jesus, and stop living like animals..yea that’s the ticket..

It’s perplexing isn’t it? Why anyone would welcome a deadly creature to come and live freely in it’s home.

So, their choices are “loudly” or “under their breath?”
The easiest way would be to renounce their death cult.
