She’s gonna blow. And not only in the USA. Europe with “Tet, Take Two” coming, Russia vs. Turkey, all the way around it’s a tinderbox.

This is an expertly reasoned and properly concluded essay. The likelihood that a Tet-68/Beslan style offensive is in the future is nearly 100%. TBD is the scale.

Your analysis of how it plays out, meaning the public reaction to it is not knowable yet, but the assertion of how the mediots will disseminate it is guaranteed.

God help us.... we’re going to need it.

Some years ago, columnist Richard Fernandez (used to hang out at FR), wrote a column, "Three Conjectures", about what would happen if jihadists were able to make WMD's. I would recommend people reading the whole column.

He argued that a decentralized jihad structure meant that there was nobody to negotiate with, to make the attacks stop, and in the end the West would be forced to resort to genocide.

I'm thinking that uncontrolled jihad, terror cells emerging from the Muslim ghettos of Europe, killing many, then retreating back to the "no go" zones, might lead to the same thing, as more and more people get fed up.
