I didn’t watch the speech, but a friend called and said that it didn’t make her crazy mad, so I presume after Black Friday wiped out gun stores of their stock that Obama got the picture and went mild in his speech.

I didn’t catch all of what was said earlier today, but it sounded to me like there was talk by the administration of enacting a NY style ‘safe act’- I tried to find it again, but couldn’t- if so He may be thinking about doing what Cuomo did- enacting gun control under the false pretense of ‘imminent need’, citing ‘growing violence’ that ‘demands action’ like Cuomo did in NY and Connecticut tried to do (not sue if they succeeded or not)
I hope dear leader did get the message, but I can’t see him compromising on anything- unless the left is really coming down hard on him for ruining their chances at reelection if he goes for something like that
