It seems like the NY Daily News has decided to go full MSNBC. Between their front page criticizing prayer to this, it’s transparent that they are willing to do ANYTHING to sell more papers, go to any low. I hope that this means they are hurting big time financially.
Libel
a “sick gun jihad”?
wouldn’y a gun that was suffering from some serious illness... have some difficulty participating in “jihad”?..../
There’s a nice big lawsuit.
I smell a lawsuit in the NY Daily News future.
New York Daily News figures long as it’s eight figures in the red every year it might as well blame the victim for the San Bernardino rampage killings, because NRA and Jews amirite?
We were all told in the wake of 9/11: “If you see something, say something.”
They neglected to mention, of course, that if you do see something and say something, you will be punished for it.
Intentional lie...check.
Provable actual harm to reputation...check.
Acting with actual malice...check.
Should be worth about $100 million and put this liberal rag down for good.
This is an example of why the Left so badly wants “hate crimes” elevated from its jurisprudence tinfoil-hat status:
It is a shield to defend defamation actions and a sword to prosecute conservatives who have done nothing wrong—except offend the sensibilities of lefties.
Their premiere capital crime? “Insensitivity”. “Hate crimes” are Orwell on steroids.
Yeah, whatever. Last time I looked, the NRA was infinitely more popular with Americans than the media.
I hope the NRA sues and turns that newspaper into a recycled toilet paper factory. Lots of potential customers just to the east of Colombia.
Make no mistake...if they ever get your guns a Maoist “Cultural Revolution” will quickly follow.
Even college kids aren’t stupid enough to bring “mob justice” to armed reactionaries.
And the Daily News thinks Trump is over the top???? Really?
After the events of this week the only thing I find OUTRAGEOUS is the liberal avoidance of calling this latest Muslim attack, Islamic Terrorism. And the media reaction is much more outrageous than ANYTHING Trump has done or said.
I don’t make funnies about my guns having been “lost in a boat accident”..
I’m ready to rock `n roll.
But I know the point: If Obama & Company get frisky and issue an order to register, surrender—whatever ... mass civil disobedience ensues, at least Sgt. Schultz “I know nothing” resistance.
It will make the New York state gun registry fail and Clive Bundy ranch nose-thumbing at the federals look like nothing.
And I’m a mild-mannered, spectacles wearing, white collar, tax paying, never-misses-an-election Every Man. There are a lot of bad people out there just looking for an excuse to be bad. The last law I broke was a speeding ticket in 1977 when Peanuts changed the speed limit to 55 MPH.
But Obama sees us as the bad guys, everything’s upside down these last seven years.
We’ve got to get through the rest of this looser’s last year and start fixing things, whether its Trump, Cruz or whomever.
Yeah, you’re right. Political power grows from the barrel of a gun. The Founders knew this and insisted on the 2nd amendment in the BOR.
This is a recent tactic of the left, comparing the NRA to ISIS and other terrorist groups. It is libelous and offensive, and I hope it backfires big time.
I saw that rag of a paper on sale at the supermarket today.
And I saw that libelous front page.
A supermarket in Ellsworth, Maine.
The Left have gone as far as lying in concert can take them. They have had increasing influence over almost 50 years. Unfortunately for them the predictable result of their winning for so long is the chaos they need to truely clamp down. “Unfortunately” because they are not quite where they need to be to put down the jackboot. They realize people are beginning to tag THEM with responsibility for the gnawing fear that is beginning to rise lIke a dark shadow in many formerly dis tracted minds. Hence the absurd Daily News headline, the threat to clamp down on speech etc. They’re getting scared and desperate. They may now push it a little too hard. Hopefully...
