In point of fact, Trump is pretty much third rate, as far as American billionaires go. Much, if not all, of his image as "smartest guy" is the creation of 10 to 15 years of showmanship and marketing, from how-to books to a prime time TV show.
That tells us what kind of leader he is and the kind of POTUS he will be. Are his companies, his brand and his leadership skills successful? Can you live with his type of success?
Government certainly should be kept far away from that kind of success. A businessman's job is to make what he takes, grow and prosper. A showman's job is to entertain. Trump may intend to help America, but his only tool will be American government where he may well fancy he's "the boss." And he has a definite history of favoring the use of government to solve problems.
The ability to amass wealth and the flair for showmanship to establish celebrity credibility as "brilliant" through MSM venues, may be admirable, but he is still not much more than a patriotic old blowhard billionaire self-promoted celebrity.
If he gets elected, he will prove a constant source of embarrassment at best to the folks who voted for him.
I'm sticking with young Ted Cruz.
What have you built? Trump did build these:

Now you may not like his style, fine but Trump did build that which means he has created jobs galore. NONE of the other candidates have done that other than Carson.
