That was the very FIRST thing the government said about the killer; in other words, they were politicizing this from the start, spinning it in terms of recent debates about immigration from Syria.

And the government clearly thinks the public is dumb, that we all assume that - if radical immigrants come here - the very first thing they will do will be to engage in terrorism. Typically, though - here as in Europe - they are in the host country for quite some time, getting acclimated so to speak, before they commit their crimes.

And it proves that,
1. We cannot discern who the “good” and the “bad” muslims are
2. and therefore we better keep all of them out.

What exactly is the NEED on our part to have to import them?

What we’re doing is the equivalent of importing a population infected with a known deadly virus that is dormant for an unspecified amount of time and triggered randomly. Why would we do that?
