Good points, his life seems to have been one of significant achievement. I also realize he has changed some positions and in the past has done some things in the course of doing business that are not consistent. (Like supporting Hillary in the past.) But it is his future outlook that is most important. And doing business is what contributed to his wealth, I would note that attaining significant wealth is evidence of his capabilities.
Pragmatism is vague like hope and change.
Trump may have thought it was pragmatic to donate to Leftists. Those leftist got elected and are damaging the country.
We can’t afford pragmatism at this point.
