In the original thread, this guy's name was overheard in police radio chatter, alongside a reference to an "intel guy". Sounds like Farook was on a watch list or something.

And it looks like they were right and I was wrong about this being misinformation.

Heh - and now I know why obama was saying something about “And did you know - people on the no-fly list can go down to the store and buy a gun today! That needs to change.”

Tell that to all the people that are on that list from mix-ups and bad spelling. I wonder what gets people on those no-fly lists? Maybe what we need is a list of people for a no-gun-buy list? Like many here on FR I would imagine.
