Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said he'd be happy to hire Donald Trump to build a wall across the border of Mexico if he is elected president.
...
Jeff Kuhner, host of "The Kuhner Report" on WRKO in Boston, asked Cruz if he would build a wall himself, "And would you if you were president appoint Donald Trump to build that wall?" (Begins at 8:30 in the audio above.)
"Absolutely, yes on both fronts," Cruz answered.
Cruz said the plan he has detailed on his website will "build a wall that works," secure the border, triple the border patrol, increase fourfold the fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft, put in place a strong biometric exit/entry system on visas and put in place a strong e-Verify system.
"We know how to solve this problem, and we will end sanctuary cities, we will end welfare for people here illegally, we will end catch-and-release and we will deport criminal illegal aliens," Cruz said. "As president, I will secure the border and we will end illegal immigration."

Cruz: I Would Hire Trump to Build Border Wall
******************
Sen. Cruz is in the correct place to provide funding for
Trump to build the Border Wall with.
"Mr. Trump, put up that wall!"
Agreed. Too bad the candidates are too friggin’ stupid to mention thes points.
Yup. I’m a Cruz fan, but he’s skating on the amnesty piece.
I’m a Cru fan, but as a TX senator for quite some time, why has he not brought up the 2006 Fence Act that was signed 9 years ago?
As I said...
Cruz has vocally supported a border fence since 2011, before he was elected Senator.
Google "Ted Cruz, border fence"...and count the hits.
Thanks for the clarification. Teddy needs to hammer this home!

You hammered home your post. ;)
None offered the same answer as to whether a wall should be built along the Texas-Mexico border. Cruz said he supported the project. James said he didn't. Dewhurst said a wall "in certain places" made sense. Leppert didn't give a direct answer but said he wanted to more "accountability" for immigration enforcement.
They found their own way here or paid smugglers to get them here. Many are capable of finding their own way back and have scammed enough to afford it. Blocked from work and freebies some will try to support themselves here through crime in which case Uncle Sam will ship them back, perhaps after a discouraging stay in a roach motel.

Both Cruz & Trump sound better with each passing day.
Cruz would likely make the best President, but Trump is more electable.
I’d favor a Trump/Cruz ticket.
Does that put your mind at ease? It's pretty cut and dried, and the "criminal illegals" he's talking about are the violent convicted criminals released here by the busload during the Obama administration. He doesn't get to it until toward the end of this 15-minute interview. Eventually I'll be able to have a more direct quote and cue you to the spot in the video, make it easier, I can't really expect anybody to dedicate that kind of time, but what I say Cruz said can be confirmed.
Another part of the tape you should hear is where Cruz says: "I categorically oppose amnesty."
But mass deportations make such better TV!
I doubt that.
