The assailants who attacked a San Bernardino office building Wednesday morning killed at least 14 people and left another 14 wounded, the city's police chief said.
They may have opened fire on a holiday party being held by county employees, federal law enforcement sources and a witness told the Los Angeles Times.
A person who was inside the building also told The Times that the shooting may have happened during a holiday party, but declined to be identified or comment further.
The shooting took place in a building that is open to the public, Nelson said.
Federal law enforcement sources, who requested anonymity because the investigation is active and ongoing, told The Times that the group holding the party, rather than the center, may have been targeted.

More evidence to support my theory; reports now saying the gunmen walked past people on the first floor, went directly to the second floor conference room where the party was going on and began firing. Not random, they had a specific target.
If these dirtbags turn out to be Tamerlane and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, version 2.0, I’m planning on writing my critters and demanding they ask for Urkel’s resignation if he can’t stop his hallucinating over lowering Mother Gaia’s temp. and taking my guns ... and start going after domestic muslim terrorists, like the ones he keeps insisting we import and clasp to our bosoms.
Lancaster County, Pennsylvania?
I’m glad your brother wasn’t there.
There is a group on FB whose name is Farooq Saeed but only seems to have a few members. But good question - where did the name come from???
A lot of bogus sounding info in the article, not the least of which is this...
“A senior federal official who is monitoring the case said investigators believe one of the shooters left the party after getting into an argument and returned with one or two armed companions.”
How would they know it’s the same guy, when they didn’t know who the shooters were and they wore masks? Now on Fox they are saying the Feds are theorizing one person went there to ensure the person he was arguing with was there, then went and got his waiting accomplices and came back. Of course it’s possible there was an argument and someone left that was unrelated to the shooting. Either way, this wasn’t random, and I don’t see any reason jihadists would pick that target.
But they didn’t shoot everybody. I think you are right about the targeting but this sounds more and more like gang revenge crap. They were in and out quick bug still in the here I am big black suv 6 hours later. That’s not pros, that’s gang stupu.
Good point.
Another thread on this subject said all of the media outlets were scrubbing this name and photo. They did the same thing with the Oregon shooter, who turned out to be muslim. I think the order emanates from the Oval Office.
What crap....the angle that someone was “mad” at someone at Christmas party is bunk and bull. They were well trained and had all kinds of weapons. This wasn’t some workplace violence/dispute thing. That’s WHAT they’re trying to spin it as to cause confusion and take focus off what it is...ISLAMIC TERRORISM.

A per being interviewed on Fox News right now said it wasn’t even a Christmas party, it was a seminar and about 50 people were in the conference room.
