The next time you get a fundraising letter from the Republican senatorial campaign committee or one of its sister organizations, remember that this is where the money will end up — commissioning a strategy paper on how the party establishment can distance itself from a GOP nominee that they don’t want.

“the National Republican Senatorial Committee urges candidates to adopt many of Trump’s tactics, issues and approaches “right down to adjusting the way they dress and how they use Twitter.””

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.

The other Republicans should stop the empty messages of the Washington establishment and try to reach out to the voters and articulate an effective alternative the way Trump does.

If they did they will win in a landslide.

How are the establishment GOPeers going to have any credibility with an “anti-Washington” tactic?

Above all, they should appeal to voters as genuine and beyond the influence of special interests.

The establishment GOP has lost what is left of its mind if it thinks it can appeal to voters as “genuine” and “beyond the influence of special interests.”

Geeeshus...too late GOPe!

Soon, we will hear 1,000 top Republicans across the country saying each day, “Phenomenal,” “Amazing,” and “If she wasn’t my daughter, I probably want to date her.”

The problem with this tactic is that they will be seen as copycats and not even sincere in their efforts to imitate Trump. He’s one of a kind and they are poor imitations.

GW Bush put it best, “Fool me once, ah, ah, ah, ah, can’t get fooled again”.

Feminists: men are the problem; let’s be like men.

NRC: Trump is the problem; let’s be like Trump.

Carson has tried that, but failed miserably.

Cruz has recently plagiarized Trump, almost word for word, but his supporters claim that he said it first, but Ted didn't.

Trump is an anomaly, who confuses and angers the GOPEers, the MSM, and those who are biased against him for no real reason.

They can’t copy Trump because (a) everyone will know they’re being phony and (b) they can’t go against their donors.

These people think we are stupid. They think that if they copy Trump we will view them as people who will actually do what they say they will do.

They have stabbed us in the back so many times that we don’t care that Trump is coarse and verbose. He IS a man of action. A man who gets things done.

The establishment candidates, on the other hand, will not be trusted no matter what they say or whom the emulate.

Idiots.

Well, he sort of did that with his ‘Most criminals are Dem voters’, but to be fair, Cruz seems to be getting 10 times the traction with it.

Good for Cruz.

Good for America.

All of our candidates should be pulling hard to the right, At least we have two.

I like it.

Like others, I DO believe that Trump and Cruz have a tag team relationship. They compliment each other.
