My wife does this kind of emergency media stuff.
You would be surprised at how little these guys “know” right now. There is a ton of information, but it hasn’t been put together yet.
But, they have to get in front of it, because the Shep Smiths of the world get everyone worked up with gossip and bullshit whining.
And then, they have stuff every hour until late tonight.

The police fbi and other law enforcement should not be on television smiling, and making sure their names are spelled right.
They could release statements instead, but everyone wants their face in front of a camera now.
Even when they have no idea of what the hell is going on yet.
