Pure speculation, but if ISIS has turned to recruiting Hispanics or MS-13 in America we are finished. I guess I should wait and see where this goes.

Mozlems in general have been recruiting Mexicans/hispanics ever since I first started reading on FR in 2002. Nothing new. The name of organization doesn’t really matter, a lot of other mozlem orgs are pledging loyalty to ISIS anyway.

Per CNN: ATF spokesperson Meredith Davis

She did not give any other description of the device.

Explosives Robot presently going through an apartment in Redlands. Asked immediate neighbors to evacuate and others to shelter at home.

It would be juicier if some of the weapons used were Obama’s “Fast and Furious” guns..

>>I shoot AK74 daily. I have no difficulty
>>obtaining the rifles or rounds.

When did they get into the States?

They were on the Clinton era assault weapon import ban list, last I saw.

I don’t think they can deny it anymore. What we don’t know must be pretty incriminating.

The 3rd shooter could be anywhere in CA right now, or AZ or NV.

Post on CT said it was actually an AK74. Follows:

...Specifically, the AK was identified by a Treeper as an AK-74, not an AK-47.

Note that the AK-74 has not been imported for the American civilian market, nor is there a civilian firm making a copy.

That is a flaming datum for foreign terrorism....

I don't know how valid any of that is...take it with a grain of salt.

Im too cheap to pay for an Arsenal and I have all the tools go build from flat to finished rifle.

After the ban, I stopped shooting my 7n6. I just swapped one of the receivers and added Magpul furniture that I got cheap. Im trying to make it light enough for wife.

Pretty obvious that the terrorist in the meeting, staged an argument so he could leave the meeting and plant a bomb before the other shooters got there.

Not sure. One of mine has a receiver built by Ohio Ordinance Works stamped 1990.

A bunch of other posts are now saying you can purchase an AK74 domestically.

Hard to follow three threads on three different sites. (:

The AK-74 has not been imported for the American civilian market,

Yes, they were, briefly, in a semi-automatic version. Still around here, for example, and elsewhere

Ammo weighs comparably with 5.56 ammo for the AR-15, magazines are polymer (I haven't seen any metal ones)

The standard 5.45 X 39 round has a long bullet with a high ballistic coefficient, which is fully jacketed but has a void space inside the front of the jacket. On impact, this causes the bullet/core to tumble as the jacket and core separate. Apparently this was decidedly unpopular with those targeted because of the unpredictable wound tracks produced.

The military version of the rifles were used in the Soviet war with Afghanistan and IIRC are still in use.

That should do for her nicely. I’ve mainly always shot 7.62 but then started getting into carbine competitions and the .223 guys were zipping past me. Two hard to get back on target for follow up shots with the recoil. Switched to 5.45 and smoked those jokers. Ha.
