Lt. Gen. (ret.) Michael Flynn, former head of the US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) from 2012 to 2014, told CNN on Tuesday that US President Barack Obama ignored a report in 2012 about the rise of Islamic State (ISIS) because it didn't meet his reelection "narrative."
Flynn just this Sunday told the German Der Spiegel that the US was "dumb" to release Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi back in 2004, classifying him as "harmless" and allowing him to go on to form ISIS. ...

His narrative was, he was committed to closing down GTMO, and that he wasn’t a muzzie himself, so, yeah.

That idiot Romney had all sorts of info at his disposal.
That is why Trump is winning now, because he says things straight and clear.
At most Romney might gingerly suggest something, and back off later.

There have been several articles — from Slate, and NBC among others — that place Baghdadi at a detention facility in Iraq called Camp Bucca in 2009 (when Obama would have been president).
Yeah, there’s that. And then there’s everything else that he’s lied about. I truly believe he is a soulless person because that’s the only type of individual that can continually lie and not feel any guilt.

"Narrative" is another word for "storytelling".
No government pensions were harmed in the making of this story.
All I need to know is that not one high ranking officer resigned their commissions over the strategic misdeeds of the Obama Administration.
General Flynn blamed the creation of ISIS on the Bush Admnistration:

In my humble opinion, General Flynn is not to be trusted.
Since we obviously have no Constitutional protection to arrest and purge treasonous politicians I’m wondering if there is a fail/safe military group assigned to protect our Constitution and Republic. Politicians seem to mired in the power and corruption of DC to put our Republic first. This is incredibly distressing and this admin has over a year to go and we have no brakemen.
