Just to point this out. Its in no way illegal for people to cheer in support of terrorists. So the fact 8 people were arrested is a meaningless. Further in that we have 8 people arrested at that location and dozens if not hundreds arrested across NJ alone.
Add in the fact you have hundreds of reports of people cheering... those are what count. They are the data points that matter as the fact police can not arrest people for simply cheering and such. If they could obama and his church would be in jail right now as we have video proof of that whole group cheering on the 9/11 attacks.

But Trump wasn't talking about some aggregate. He was specific in saying "And I watched in Jersey City, N.J., where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering."
He said "he" saw thousands and thousands in Jersey City.
He cited a specific place (Jersey City) and a specific event (as the building was coming down) with a generalized thousands and thousands as the amount of people. Can he see from his apartment across the river? Did he see it on TV? Local media has nothing on thousands and thousands in Jersey City. Network media has nothing on thousands and thousands in Jersey City.
