White House press secretary Josh Earnest urged lawmakers to pass new legislation providing Obama with the explicit authority to counter ISIS. “This effort is serious, and should be the focus of serious debate,” Earnest told reporters during his Tuesday briefing. “It will take more than three weeks to pass an AUMF, but Congress, in each of these cases, must stop using the fact that these issues are difficult as an excuse for doing nothing."

"It will take more than three weeks to pass an AUMF"

And according to the War Powers Act (which Obama has violated numerous times), he cannot engage US forces until the authorization if received; unless it's a national emergency.

Especially to bomb a sovereign country and dispatch combat troops and equipment.

I know of no time in US History where a US President has acted so unilaterally in matters of war and peace.

Our President is an International Criminal and a US Criminal.

But our worthless Congress, administered by Republicans, will not do their duty. By their inaction, they have betrayed the American People and the Constitution of the United States.
