I don't use Twitter, so I am not up on the little logos.
Does the 'heart sign' mean those people liked her post (like a Facebook 'thumbs up')?
What does the 'going around in circle' represent? Someone caught in an endless do loop?
Heart means someone agrees with her, the going around in circle means it was retweeted by someone.
Thanks
Just another fake “racist attacks” the fools in the media fell for.
I remember that. Al Charlatan
Media, the students, the University. They will have talks, it will be that she needed to do this to get the ‘white priviledged’ involved. I need a safe space, from Barack and his Administration.
Appears that way. If this “movement” was authentic, they’d care about the violence in the community and they don’t. It’s reverse racism/discrimination/payback/hate light skin men/women.
Racism is what my grandparents fought against. I wonder what they would think of the farce of the reverse-racists?
Guilty!
She B a hoax ho, yo!
Sounds like it is a beautiful place. (all that history)
Her cause was apparently not enough that she needed to be the racist (criminal) she was accusing a professor of.
"Everybody run, the homecoming queen's got a gun"
I don’t understand the younger generation using that word in Rap music, etc. Never in my lifetime would I have imagined that word being thrown around.
Through in Hate Crime too.
Sounds like she was pretty privileged. Homecoming queen, graduate of college, attractive, had a job, but she wanted more, ATTENTION.
Yes, must need a “safe space” now.
Nope. The Profs went happily along.
He’d have to be some kind of dumb.
The name is also found as Ceos or Keos--sounds similar to "Chios" both in English and Greek. (There is a joke in Aristophanes that depends on the names Ceos and Chios sounding very nearly alike.)
We have bits of the poetry of Simonides and Bacchylides. Simonides wrote some poems having to do with the Persian Wars. The famous epigram about the 300 Spartans who died at Thermopylae is possibly by him:
"Go tell them in Sparta, passer-by,
That here, obedient to their laws, we lie."
Thank you for that bit of history. Checked it out on google earth, beautiful!
She’s suffering from attention whoredom.
