News organizations should not take sides in issues they can be expected to cover. Particularly controversial politicized issues. It undermines their integrity and create the appearance of a conflict of interest.

Pray tell, which *news* network might be one that owns any ethics HIGH or NONE? These are few and far between. If Fox wishes to commit suicide many assistants can be found in very short order. They have a reputation to protect. Months can go by before their network is seen - this from a family that once had Fox on 24 hours a day. Kicking the habit was not easy, but not impossible.
