My FReind, you took me up on a relatively minor point about when scripture says this Wicked world ruler will appear. Now you’re answering with an issue about needing to be ready at any time for Jesus appearance. So it seems you’re confusing the subject of our discussion.
The first point, the subject of the discussion about this coming world ruler, is we’re never told to look for him. Rather scripture constantly tells us to look to Jesus and wait patiently for his appearing.
The second thing that you now bring up is, yes, Jesus can come at any time. But if you read 1 & 2 Thessalonians carefully, you’ll see the constant theme of COMFORT regarding Jesus coming and the end times. God does NOT want you to be afraid. If you’re a believer you have nothing to fear - you ARE ready because God has made you the righteousness of God in Christ through Jesus’ death for you on the cross (2 Cor 5:21) and your sins, past, present, and future will never be counted against you (Rom 4:7-8; Heb 8:12, 10:17).

I’m not afraid, I didn’t intend to insinuate that. I was just diagnosed with a potentially deadly disease in Sept., one that doesn’t give you much if any warning, so my view point is just in a different place.
However, that still doesn’t change the fact that that Scripture is very clear, Jesus does not return until the son of perdition is revealed. It is also clear when it says let no man fool you. Twisting Scripture too fit a doctrine of man is just that, twisting Scripture. I don’t know how you can twist something so obvious, but it’s very plain to me.
