Asia is the fastest growing economy in the world. China and India are but two countries. In that region, we have the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia... all growing at double or triple European or American growth rates.
If they need to burn fossil fuels in order to catch up to the industrialized country, THEY WILL.
Unless you do anything to stop what they’re doing, nothing you do will make a whit of a difference (even assuming that global warming is mainly caused by human activity).
Burning of fossil fuels I can live with. Not a problem. The dumping of Mercury and other highly toxic chemicals into the water is something we cannot live with. China is wrecking the world’s water supply and the media stays silent.
