Quite so. In GR, the young thugs at the time (most of whom have no doubt gone on to great careers leading to prison time) thought Mark Fuhrman should be put on trial, which of course makes no sense. He didn’t frame OJ, OJ did it, but the morons in the so-callled justice system didn’t want a repeat of the Rodney King riots, so instead of a jury of his peers, OJ got a jury from the ‘hood.
