The celebrated in Paterson. My Uncle (who lives across from the Passaic River from Paterson) was on the phone that day telling my Mom about the National Guard trucks heading into Paterson to break up the fighting. Americans of all colors were riding into the area to kick the asses of those celebrating the attacks. There was a total media blackout on the matter, probably because if it were reported on it would get out of control.
A buddy of mine was in the NJ National Guard (Military Police) on 9/11, and was deployed out of Morristown to quell the violence that broke out as a result of the celebrating. I was on the phone with him last week talking about this and he said, "Of course it happened, I was there!"

Nice report. I said in another thread:
We need to create the False Memories Muslim Celebrations Club for all of us who remember clearly seeing Muslims celebrating the 9/11 horror on television and reading the reports of celebrations, both in this country and abroad.
Those who saw in person would be even more honored members.
