I wonder if CNBC and other channels archive their newscasts. One would think so, and that it would be a simple matter for them to check. Of course, the MSM is not anxious to check because they know what they’ll find out if they do.

Exactly right. The same reasons that they refused (and still refuse) to properly investigate and vet the background of the Kenyan Usurper in the White House.

But you can bet the rent that IF there was some obscure report of (for example) Donald Trump or Ted Cruz tying some cans to a cat's tail when they were kids, it would already have been broadcast non-stop while accusing them of being 'animal abusers'.
