Article I read in Newser said he had a well and a cross made out of sticks on the wall of his yellow shanty cabin. Also I think it was ABC, I read that he also owned a trailer in town, can’t remember the town in NC.

The trailer is in Hartsel, Park Co., CO (where South Park is). See the information from his neighbor in Hartsel, CO in the quote in comment #119.

There is a pic of that “cross” in one of the articles and it’s two sticks crossed sideways. Doesn’t look like a religious cross to me.
