I agree. I have spent the last 8 years cringing every time this President opens his mouth. I want a President I can be proud of. Not one who mocks his opponents and makes fun of their looks. Is that asking too much?

It might be. It’s like getting angry because many of our soldiers use strong language. Maybe that kind of language isn’t your thing, but when they’re the ones putting their lives on the line for the rest of us, allowing them that indulgence is the least that a grateful public can do.
Same with Trump. If he can accomplish what he’s promising, then not supporting him over his tone is definitely an example of putting the lesser ahead of the greater, especially when you look at what the alternatives are. The truth of the matter is that Trump is the only candidate who is fighting to win, and he’s fighting all the right people. The strong language and insults is how he fights. You can’t have Falstaff without the fat, and you don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. O.K., I’m all out of cliche’s.
