To piggyback on this thread I have noticed that Google has launched another something about this, they are calling it #ourstolose .
First thing I thought of was yes. We will lose our minds under a false imperative to control forces that are vastly beyond the effect of any humanly added carbon dioxide to the air.

I've never been to Letchworth State Park, but have seen photos of it. It's similar to Watkins Glen (geologically) but larger and wider. It's known as the "Grand Canyon of the East". Would definitely love to go there for a few days on a camping trip.

“...we declare our faith in wind, water and sun,” Steingraber said. “We turn our backs on coal, oil and gas.”
And the planes you’re taking to/from Paris, Mz. Steingraber ... they’re being fueled how?

places in NY worth visiting....Watkins Glen state park, Letchworth state parkI've been to Watkins Glen, Taughannock Falls State Park, and Robert H. Treman State Park. Letchworth was too far west from where we were camping in Central New York. I lived for about 2 years in Upstate New York, The rest of the time, including the present, in New York City.

When I read #OursToLose, my eye picked it up as “Our Stool is too loose”. Appropriate, somehow....

I don't know. They might. Just don't forget to bring the bow.

Isn't it a bit nippy at this time of year? For sure. It's something like 10 degrees cooler up there than in New York City where I am. We've had a couple of very mild days here. Mid 60s.

Make sure they don’t murder any trees to keep warm, too.
