I appreciate your comments, and I want to emphasize that I was supporting Ted Cruz long before Donald Trump got into the race back in June. I remain a strong supporter of Cruz, and I am confident that NO one will ever turn up any negative comments from me regarding him, nor will I in the future.
I can make all sorts of arguments (some have told me they are compelling) to support Trump, just as there are equally compelling arguments to support Cruz, the fact is BOTH of these fine gentlemen are thoroughly despised by the institutional libtards throughout our society, by the media, and certainly by the GOPe (which certainly should make them worthy of our support).
I'm calling it an early night, not feeling so great to be honest (too much turkey? lol) but just as I encourage Cruz supporters (of which I am one) NOT to trash Trump, I encourage my fellow FReepers who support Trump (as I do) to show the same kind of respect towards Ted Cruz as Trump himself has shown, which contrasted with his comments about his other rivals, is substantial and meaningful.
Good night all!

(If you really support Ted Cruz, don't be trashing Trump, Cruz doesn't, why should you?)

Just to reiterate, I wasn’t targeting you with my rant. I do like Donald Trump. I like the fact that he’s not PC, and that he won’t take the media’s crap. I’m not so fond of the fact that he wouldn’t stand with Kim Davis. If a candidate is going to stand for the constitution, then they need to stand for all of it. Not just the Freedom of Speech, or the Freedom of the Press, but also the Freedom of religion. Unfortunately, as our nation becomes more secular, the Freedom of religion will be under attack more, and more.
That is the reason that Ted Cruz is my vote in the primary. But as stated before, I could happily vote for Donald Trump as long as our Constitutional right to Freedom of Religion is protected. Because I’m tired of militant homosexuals attacking Christian businesses. Anyway, I hope I didn’t come down too hard on you, or Trump supporters. Trump/Cruz or Cruz/Trump 2016.
