Yes. And there is always wound channel size. You get a bigger channel with a .45 JHP than with with 9mm ball.
But still, a small hole in the center of the chest (or head) is probably better than a bigger hole in the calf or arm.
a fair point for sure but magazine capacity has to be considered as well and considering the improvements in JHP design and performance, the advantage that the .45 JHP holds over the 9mm is questionable. That being said, I consider the 10mm superior to both rounds as you get a .40” projectile with .41 magnum terminal energy levels and 16 rounds vs 14 of .45 acp. From the Glock platform, it’s just right for self defense IMO.
