What happens next around the border city of Jarabulus is the big thing to watch, I think. It seems to be the main Raqqa-Turkey supply route.
Erdogan stopped the Kurds from taking it a couple of months ago by bombing the hell out of them, and has threatened, several times, to attack them again if they cross the Euphrates river.
If the Kurds are unleashed, they can cut Jarabulus, while the Russians/Syrians take Azaz, and cut off supply to Aleppo and Rebel-held Western Syria.
Will Erdogan risk trying to bomb Kurds, with Russian AA sites protecting Kurdish forces?
