A funeral procession passes by a golf course, and former pResident Barry Obama stops, stands at attention, hat over his heart as the hearse goes by. Then he goes back to lining up his three foot putt which he misses.
His playing partner remarked how that was the nicest gesture he had seen for a while, to show such respect for the dead. Obama finally drops the putt and gives himself the benefit of the doubt on the score card.
Then he replies, “Thanks but it was nothing. She was a pretty good wife for a lot of years, even if it was an old pal who really made my putter stand up.”
