Do you think we are actually going to get into any type of hot war with Russia? Not a chance.
Obama is a known pussy, he squats to pee. The only people he crushes are American Citizens and the cowardly Republican leadership.
Turkey is as much of an adversary while being lead by the Islamist Erdagon as Russia, maybe more so in the long run. They should have been tossed from NATO when Erdagon was elected. If you want to call that an election.
Just so you understand. This is the way it will work out.
Russia will back Assad, Assad will regain his throne, Turkey will be cowed and Obama will be shown to be the loser and international joke he has always been.

I would never let my feelings about Obama change my feelings about Putin. I know that Obama is not the most competent of our presidents, but even he is more competent than Putin.
The USA is a lot more than just our president. Our economy keeps growing while Putin's kleptocracy continues to deteriorate. Putin has chosen kleptocracy over a free market economy. That is an incompetent decision.
It is Putin who incompetently provided some of his drunken friends with rockets that would shoot down planes. He probably miscalculated and did not foresee that his friends would shoot down a commercial airliner and then loot the crash site. But, that costly miscalculation is hardly a sign of competence.
I suspect Putin knew that his jets were disrespecting Turkey's airspace and I suspect that he thought it was funny. I view it as another costly miscalculation.
So, I think that unfolding events are not demonstrating that Putin is the genius that some people seem to think he is.
