Ankara: Turkey has moved 20 tanks to her border with Syria as tensions with Russia continue.

Military sources from Turkey said the tanks were moved by rail to an armored brigade at the western border with Syria.

Reports also say 18 fighter jets were sent on a patrol exercise near the border.

A military source told Turkey's Anadolu agency: "Accompanied by police and gendarmes, 20 tanks were sent by rail from Turkey's western provinces by railway to Gaziantep in the south of the country, and then redirected to the Syrian border."

I disagree. Russia has been dumb enough to fly sorties without fighter escort was a blunder. There’s a reason why they haven’t retaliated yet, and that’s because a response needs to be weighed against taking further losses which Russia would.

Putin has many options to get revenge. getting Armeria to shoot down Turkish planes that flay in their airspace. Or trukish planes that violate Greek airspace. Then their could be accidents—like bombing Turkish sites on the border. Maybe some Kurds could blow up some of the places in Turkey where ISIS sells its oil. Maybe a “Kurd” could shot the President of Turkey?

Yes, and 'revenge is a dish best served cold'. Turkey has many disadvantages and few options. It's practically surrounded by enemies, its economy is tanking, and like us its body politic is corrupt. Add to that thousands of homeless fanatical muslims streaming through it, a shaky partnership with Obammy, and the blood of over 1 million Armenian Christians on its hands.

The stuff is about to hit the fan in the the M.E. and in no small part, due to Turkey's idiotic shoot-down of a Russian jet - probably with Obama's blessing. When it hits the fan, Turkey will catch the brunt due to location, as it has throughout history and prophesied for its future.

But that is almost the same thing that was said about Saddam’s military before we kicked their butts.

Muslimes on a battlefield are not all that good. . .I think it is because of this ‘en-sha-allah’ thing they got going on...if I am meant to win, I will win, if I am supposed to lose I will lose, out of my hands so even if I train and practice if allah wills I am to lose, I lose.

The difference is Saddam wasn’t armed with the best exported weaponry that NATO has to offer unlike Turkey.

Actually, Saddam had some advanced Russian fighters, and T-72 tanks. . .and some good SAM systems as well.

Regardless, like I said, it is all muslime mind-set, no matter what they have, they were going to lose. . .and Turkey is the same, sell them F-16s but they are still Turks behind the stick.

That is what makes me heartsick. This country in such horrid liberal straits. I think the refugees are designed to add more liberal voters to red states..

I agree. Toppling Arab leaders is part of the Isis strategy.

Maybe a pipeline could be blown up on the coldest day of the winter ever.
Maybe an oil plant could catch fire.
There are lots of ways for Putin to play.
