I may have been a bit harsh, but the anti-vaccine nonsense is as bad as global warming, worse in some ways.

I see nothing wrong with not getting the flu vaccine.

I have never chosen to get it. I don’t think it is necessary. Millions of people do, though, and they get it year after year and have no consequences, and maybe don’t get the flu when they might otherwise have.

It is not some sinister scheme to make greedy capitalists money or that will harm people.

Your proof is what exactly? If you actually read further down the thread you would see that A) the flu vaccines are at best 20% effective. B) Many conservatives on the forum have had adverse reactions to the vaccine.
