Just as a point of interest, the swastika is also part of the Hindu or Buddhist belief in India. They still use it today to bless new car purchases at the dealers. When the customer is done buying the car, they go outside and bless the car by performing a little ceremony, which includes painting the swastika on the front of the car.
Evidently, it is symbol that represents a blessing for the removal of obstacles...

Swastika was also very prevalent in several America Native American culture too, including the Navajo. It is present in a lot of their pottery, clothes, etc. I understand that is a symbol of luck.
Guess the PC police needs to ban those too. /s
