Nonsense. The war was against communism. Putin says that he is no communist and calls Lenin a traitor.
He also rebuilt hundreds of christian churches.
I’m no fan, but I would take him over most of the other world leaders of today.
In regard to the cold war, communism had little to do with our relationship with Russia.
The cold war, ie; a continuation of proxy conflicts throughout the globe with Russia supplying one side and we supplying the other has continued unabated, with the exception of a short pause.
