There was that incident a week or so before Russia started their campaign against the Syrian rebels where Obama’s rebels handed over a reported 1/3 of their US supplied arsenal to the Nusra terrorists.
The Obama administration initially denied it but the rebels themselves didn’t feel the need to deny it, so the O.A. had to admit that it happened.
They thought the rebels would keep the weapons drop under wraps. Why would they think that?
The narrative for that weapons drop was “had to do it for safe passage of the rebels through al qaeda controlled territory”.
Try to imagine that scenario. If Quentin Tarantino made a war movie, it would definitely have some massive Mexican Standoff like this.
It was a scheduled arms drop. Was there a Republican Congress grilling of anyone to air this out?
