If he went down with one shot but any responsible firearms instructor teaches STSTT (Shoot to stop the threat). It means you fire as many center mass shots as it takes in rapid succession to end the threat. The suspect went down after the first shot.

How do you know? I'm watching on an old phone and can't hear anything.
If, and I say if, the first shot was fatal then the rest are irrelevant to the charge.
