In a sense he might even be right. But it would not be because of Trump but because of the spiritual wind that has picked him up. With the right movement of God (the country willing, and Trump being willing to play a helpful part) the country could see such a transformation uncorked as to drive it dizzy. The bible even describes it as though one were dreaming.
We sometimes get so obsessed with what we deserve that we won’t even let God forgive us.
Yes, God can certainly act as The Invisible Hand, guiding Trump and the rest of us back to a saner and more stable country and world. From the Trump rallies, it’s easy to sense the pent-up desire to make things right again. A Trump win — God willing — can unleash it.
