Well, as I see it, Russia has one less combat aircraft, which should be viewed as a positive thing! As far as “getting permission,” I doubt that Turkey gives a $hit what Obola & Co, or the Russians think. BTW, If my memory serves me correctly, this is the second Russian plane taken out by Turkey.
