I actually had a freeper admonish me that calling ISIS Daesh was politically correct and wrong

ISIS or IS is what the killers like to be called
Daesh is a slur on them and they dislike it so much they kill those who use the term
Yet this freeper refused to figure it out
Some here even when confronted with truth just can’t give it up
Here is a reply I made on the subject on another thread. It is not an admonishment, it is simply an explanation why I believe that it is a mistake to use the term daesh, even if it is viewed as a pejorative in the moslem mind.

I think that is a mistake.
The average person is going to see/hear “Daesh,†and unless they dig, which the average person won’t, they are not going to know or understand the meaning.
On the other hand, Islam is now a pretty well known quantity, and with the exception of the brain dead liberals, it is viewed, as it should be, as evil; which it is, despite the sentiments of the author.
