We are not talking about .45acp and 30-06 here that they ran out of. We are talking about things like hellfire missles, 30 mm for GAU-8 Avenger, .50 Cal for Apache and munitions for Spooky.
We need more airplanes, each with a full complement of munitions, to attack big targets in a serious war. But someone has been reducing the number of airplanes in the Air Force.
