Turks claim that a Russian warplane intruded into its air space and their plane shot it down after giving repeated warnings.
Russians claim that the plane was inside Syria, and shot down by ground fire.
Pilots parachuted down. One dead, and the other captured by Turkomens who are probably allies of Turks.
So what is Russia's response going to be if Turks insist that they shot it down because it violated its air space? This gets interesting.
Who knows, perhaps stopping all tourist flights to Turkey?
But, this is probably a crucial moment for Putin, will he back down, or step up. My guess is back down. The Russian economy is in free fall:
