I was there also. It is a bit of a sacrifice to drive downtown, find parking, walk to the event and then stand for two hours. My point is that I think many people are going there to make a statement not to be entertained.

The speech was not too different than the other ones I have watched on youtube. The crowd liked that he mentioned guns. I am glad I went and it is certainly encouraging to see so many people there.

Everyone was so patient, waiting for it to start. I think you are right, that people feel at this point it’s the least they can do to go and be counted, no matter how inconvenient or tiring. Thank you for being there.

I understand what you mean about it being a bit of a sacrifice so thank you for going.

The same was true in Knoxville with fighting heavy traffic, finding parking, walking to the venue, and standing for 2+ hours. That is why it is shocking that so many show up.

Around here people will do that for a football game but little else.
