The Christians support Assad. Obama wouldn’t support them because he wants Assad gone. Their only hope is the Russians and the Iranians. (I’d hope the Israelis would help but doing so might cause unintended consequences to the Christians.)
Obama could care less about the Christians. Their pleas are falling on deaf ears in Washington.
Everyone is on Obama but Congress is just as guilty. Obama’s guilty of treason but so is every Senator and House member who has enabled him.

They should appeal, publicly, to France as well. France scants their defense budget, but small arms, boots, ammunition and rations are certainly within their capacity. It would put the point to Hollande, too, as to whether this is serious or simply theater.
Interestingly enough, the guy who could make the real difference is the Pope. The Catholic church has the wherewithal to get them anything they need from guns to medicine. But the current Pope appears to be a real liberal.
