Of Americaâs Founding Fathers, Ben Carson is most moved by Thomas Jefferson, partly because of the way he âtried to craft our Constitution,â the retired neurosurgeon said this weekend. In a Sunday interview on C-SPAN as part of its âRoad to the White Houseâ series, Carson said he was âimpressed by a lot of them,â referring to the Founding Fathers.

Carson is not one of my top choices, but knowing trivia from history is not at the top of my priority list. Like most on FR, I know a lot about the writing of the Declaration and of the Constitution, and I know Carson’s answer was imperfect, but I don’t consider knowledge of that sort of detail important in a president. What matters to me is whether the candidate values the Constitution (Cruz) or wants to trash it (Obama).
” Sorta like a death by a thousand cuts.”
That’s what Carson is dealing with.
In contrast Trump weathers all the attacks coming at him and even seems to grow stronger.
DOES ANYONE HERE UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF THE WORD “INFLUENCED”????????????

The usurper doesn’t know his own birth date.

RE: The usurper doesnât know his own birth date.
Let’s put it this way, Carson is not the best candidate for President, but to call him a usurper (dictionary definition: an illegitimate or controversial claimant to power ) is saying too much.
Carson is a nice guy, but...
Obvious slip of the tongue, each candidate has every little word they speak parsed, especially Republicans. We don’t need to help the enemy...Carson is without a doubt very well educated...he made a simple mistake.
