Crimea without power from Ukraine after electricity pylons 'blown up'

Crimea was left without electricity supplies from Ukraine on Sunday after pylons carrying power lines to the Russia-annexed peninsula were blown up overnight.

It was not immediately clear who had damaged the pylons, but a Russian senator described the move as an "act of terrorism" and implied that Ukrainian nationalists were to blame.

Crimea receives the bulk of its electricity from the Ukrainian mainland and its seizure by Russia last year prompted fury in Kiev and the West, which then imposed economic sanctions on Russian companies and individuals.

Russia's Energy Ministry said emergency electricity supplies had been turned on for critical needs in Crimea and that mobile gas turbine generators were being used, adding that around 1.6 million people out of a population of roughly 2 million remained without power as of 1000 GMT.

Yes, but all the elections were won by Nazi Jews. Sputnik.com reported it.

Nope, no slavish loyaly to Putin. I just saw the coup as Nazi. and I intensely dislike Nazis.
As much as you don’t want to call it a coup, it was. That boxer opposition politician Vitali Klitschko, a maidan supporter, announced that he had reached an agreement with Yanukovych for early elections.

Vladimir Parasyuk took the microphone and whipped up the crown with an ultimatum that if he didn’t resign the next day, they would storm the building.

Yup, it’s wintertime. Time for Russia to boss its neighbors (excuse me, the “near abroad”) around. If only the Russians weren’t such globalists.

Yes, almost all the gas came from Russia. That’s why it was such a crisis when Russia turned it off a few years back for theft and non payment. There are attempts to reverse pipelines from Europe. And Ukraine and Russia just signed a gas deal in September for the winter. The electric line will be repaired.

Furthermore, Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko requested the supreme court of Ukraine to declare that his predecessor, Viktor Yanukovych, was overthrown by an illegal operation; in other words, that the post-Yanukovych government, including Poroshenko’s own Presidency, came into power from a coup, not from something democratic, not from any authentic constitutional process at all.

This is as of 2015 because now right sector is actually threatening to do the same thing to Poroshenko. And now Parasyuk who made the “storm the government building” ultimatum is a legislator and just kicked someone in the head in a hearing yesterday. A fitting metaphor for how he got there.

“Since the former president Yanuconvict fled, there have been presidential, legislative and local elections.”

Even Poroshenko says it was a coup and not a constitutional process.

I've often wondered why he has been allowed to continue scheming for as long as he has.

As someone on FR remarked, he is an evil James Bond villain in a world without a James Bond. He is very clever, powerful, or someone(s) patsy.

I do believe he pulls the strings of quite a number of US politicians, including Bill / Hillary and Obama.

It's pretty cute that they're just these magical, "confidential" (they're marked confidential on big bold letters) documents exist detailing how evil George Soros, working with US intelligence, plan to keep the Nazi-Jewish Ukrainians away from Russia's benevolent hands (I say "Nazi-Jewish," because retarded Russians actually accuse Ukraine of being dominated by "Jewish Banderovites"). I did a bit of further research and discovered that the "Soros email to Poroshenko" is provided by... guess who? Russian propagandist called "Cyber-Berkut," the retarded-Russian version of Anonymous.

And, of course, all of these are offered up by that very credible source known as Zero Hedge-- run by a stupid Russian-- who in between smoking dope and cursing Donald Trump, predicts an imminent economic collapse that never seems to come. Meanwhile, their posters, most of whom either have Pornographic avatars or hail from white supremarcist or Ron Paul websites, lap up all this bullshit like it's Gospel... just like you, it appears.

Did your mail order bride from Crimea feed you that line? It got stupid around the last elections in Ukraine. Catch up, would you.

But first, Russia can immediately cut off all gas supplies to the Ukraine, after all they have all that electricity to stay warm this winter, enjoy the winter sports.

Pretty easy to spot a troll these days, even a well funded, hard working, George Soros troll... just like you, it appears.

Putin, like Stalin before him, uses the word “Nazi” to mean anything that he disagrees with. Elsewhere, the word can best be used to describe certain attitudes and behavior that more closely resemble the blood libels and terror that Russia imposes on its neighbors.

Yes, because if you're not a card carrying Alex Jones retard who takes random documents put forward by random Russian websites which also claim Ukrainians are nailing babies to crosses, well then you MUST be working for George Soros. Who else would doubt the veracity of Cyber Berkut or the Russian government, the latter of which is literally hanging people by their wrists in basements or beating them to death in dark alleyways?

Oh, I'm not proclaiming accuracy of the article one way are the other, other than being perhaps a little trite here and yonder for the fun of it. That I leave for informed Freepers to decide for themselves.

You on the other hand, with your acrimonious defense of Soros - the indefensible - are beyond the pale.

Go rummage through belongings you and Soros stole from Jews the Nazi's gassed or something why don't you, and leave honest folk be...

Freak.

OK, so you just called me a George Soros troll for pointing out that your "articles" aka "confidential documents" (you just KNOW they're genuine, because they have CONFIDENTIAL in big bold letters) are put out by nuts and Russian Commies, and then you turn around and say you're not proclaiming that they're even accurate?

OK, whatever.

You on the other hand, with your acrimonious defense of Soros

See, here is where we discover that you're a filthy liar and a nutcase. Where, exactly, did I defend George Soros? Because I raised doubt about the documents that you say you are not declaring to be accurate?

Here is a picture of one "confidential document" that was published in Russian state owned newspaper Izvestia.

Russia can immediately stop selling electricity and coal for power stations in Ukraine. Russia declared it will stop buying Ukrainian production, nobody else needs it.
