You baby boomers may live longer because of the good care you got by the parents who you insult by saying that they don’t/didn’t understand the ramifications of old age.

Oh please; that remark borders on downright rudeness. They didn't understand the ramifications because they didn't expect to live long enough for anything they did to make a difference. In the event many of them did live long enough for it to make a difference, and many wished they had taken better care of themselves.

You need to learn the difference between criticism and analysis. It might prevent you making an ass of yourself in the future.
