A company that treated me like this, I would tell them, I will take my business elsewhere.

If they don’t want me, I will also tell my friends and others about them.

Enough incidents like that, it will go out of business.

I would tell everyone in my department that if they rented from Avis, they would have to pay for the rental out of their own pockets.

If the company he works for, Teva, is as big as the article indicates, the company should ask its employees to not do business with Avis and if the company has any accounts with the company, it should cancel them. Having stupid employees is one thing, but for the customer service rep to not direct the employees to rent him a can and for Avis to not respond quickly is not acceptable.
