Congressman Filemon Vela, D-Brownsville, was one of 47 democrats in the United States House of Representatives who voted for H.R. 4038, which would pull more agencies into the refugee vetting process.
U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Laredo, also voted in favor of the bill, and U.S. Rep. Rubén Hinojosa, D-McAllen, did not vote.
H.R. 4038, which passed the House on Thursday, would require the FBI and Director of National Intelligence to certify every refugee, in addition to already existing Department of Homeland Security screening. Vela said it would be âstreamliningâ the process.

Would be nice if democratics cared this much about Americans. All this money should go to helping our citizens, especially veterans.
You can’t “vet” these “refugees”. There is no data background on them anywhere. At least that is what the head of the FBI said last week. You can’t. My only hope is that when the terrorist moozlum “refugees” do their bombing that only LIB idiots are murdered.
Government workers are lazy bums.
And these are the same folk who’ll be vetting these “refugees”.
