I think a lot of us avoid the nominee discussions because of the bitter food fights. We eat out own.
I have voted for president since 1956 and have yet to find a perfect candidate.
;o)
Thank you for your posts.

I love Trump supporters- they will overlook / sweep aside / spin any of Trumps liberal tendencies or positions... and he does have a multitude of them.
However, when it comes to Cruz, they will be searching for that needle in the haystack and keep harping on that incessantly.
Really, you guys lose your credibility because the double standard is so obvious.
Another thing is that you all will jump on each and every Cruz thread to drop your candidate's name / critique Cruz. Then when folks respond to you, you will claim that Trump has it in the bag and Cruz is just running for show.
Well if Trump has it locked up, you all sure don't look like it.
Trump supporters make some frenzied kooky posts on those Cruz threads where he shines.
To: Moorings
He is not hawking a Liberal agenda.
Other than that, you’ve made an excellent post.
He is hawking the Reagan Platform.
I always get a kick out of folks who profess to be solid Conservatives unable to recognize Reagan’s platform.
Thanks for the humor break.

How in the hell could you ever imply that Cruz might be a stealth establishment candidate? You can’t possibly be that stupid.
To: bestintxas
Sorry I don’t think that is it.
I am moving more to Anarcho Capitalism.

I get a kick out of folks who claim to be conservatives and then are die hard supporters of a candidate who changed his suit for the republican nomination.
Makes one wonder if Harry or Nancy changed rhetoric to a conservative sounding one, how many of these same people will jump on that band wagon.
Otherwise your posts are good. ;-)
To: VinL
The way I see it, Trump is probably Cruz’ second choice and Cruz is Trump’s second choice.
Cruz is my favorite, and he would win; but a Trump-Cruz ticket would result in a landslide not seen since Reagan.

Trump changed his suit from one of being a Real Estate Tycoon, to being a man running for the presidency. So yes, things changed for him.
He had to develop a platform and he essentially picked Reagan's. This seems to disturb you. Why is that? You didn't like Reagan either?

This is where the rubber hits the road. You analytical skills are vaporware.
Harry Ried has been a politician since 1983 when he entered Congress. He served there until 1987, and then moved to the U. S. Senate. He's been in Washingtone for 32 years.
Nancy Pelosi has been a politician since 1987 when she entered Congress. She has served there for 28 years.
These two have been politicians for decades. They are set in their ways and have adopted the platforms they both support decades ago.
Trump just developed his platform. They express his true beliefs.
Otherwise your posts are good. ;-)
Now, as for you...
You express contempt for Trump supporters, and talk about how they'll defend Leftists. From what I've seen the Trump supporters are an honest lot. They try not to make false claims. When they find out their wrong they aploogize and try not to repeat the untruthful statement.
You stated that Trump supports the Canadian and Scotish health care systems. Does he? Is that what he is proposing to replace Obamacare with? No. So he doesn't support those nation's health care systems. He supports something different for us.
I explained this to you. I got no apology from you. I just got more insults about "Trump Suppoters". Obviously some Cruz supporters aren't all that perfect either.
Charge: Otherwise he loves Canada's and Scotland's government healthcare.
Rebuttal: He is not hawking Canada or Scotlandâs health care programs. He has proposed private sector competition, by removing state line restrictions on insurance companies.
(Contains snark directed at Trump supporters while you still had an untruth on the table.)
Here are a couple more H. S. comments of yours.
Trump is also
a lefty. Trump's patform is Reagan's platform. It goes it two better promising to get immigration and the national debt under control. You think Reagan was a Lefty?
He is strong on immigration (
just words). That is about it. What has any of the candidates got except for words on the subject? Nonsense!

Eyes roll. Yet another obligatory drive-by shooting by yet another Trumpbot on a pro Cruz thread. Wake me up when something different happens.

Okay. Problem is it goes both ways. Might as well take a long nap;)

Trump has been in first place for over 5 months, but doesn't deserve coverage? Trump is getting like 90% more coverage than his poll numbers warrant. Ted Cruz is getting like 60% less coverage than his poll numbers. Trump has been getting a free ride based on his reality TV star persona. That is still not stopping Cruz from his recent rise in the polls though.
To: SmokingJoe
At first he got lots, but I watch Fox and CNN every day, and the last couple months they rarely show him at all. If they talk about him it’s slamming him for something he said (or didn’t really say). They spend more time on Kasich and Christie who seem to be on every other day.

But that would only make sense if Cruz were a Megyn favorite, which is really a foolish notion.

"But that would only make sense if Cruz were a Megyn favorite, which is really a foolish notion." The corrupt Washington cartel is desperately trying to promote any candidate over Trump.
